split down the middle – separated into 2 equal parts

eg. the hotpot i had today was split down the middle

popular with foreigners / among 

hygienic < > unhygienic – clean / dirty

eg. i think eating hotpot with friends is not very hygienic

yum cha = zao cha / dian xin

you can’t always see a lot of snow – you can never see much snow
