Last Thursday afternoon I traveled to Chengdu with my husband and one of his colleagues, his name is Alf. We arrived at Chengdu airport at 6:30pm and Alf told us the plan for the night. The client decided to pick us up at the airport with a driver, then we left/dropped off our belongings at the hotel and had dinner with him. I didn’t want to go with them because I don’t like hotpot but it would be disrespectful to say no/if I said no it would be disrespectful.
At dinner the client told us he would give us his driver for the whole weekend, we said no but he insisted.
