Vocabulary
artificial – not real but man-made
e.g. A lot of chemicals in candy and such are artificial. They were made in labs by chemists.
fickle – when people change their opinions constantly
e.g. Thalia’s current client is extremely fickle: he doesn’t know what he wants.
investment banking – when banks use your money to invest this money into companies so then they can make that money grow
e.g. Investment banking is very lucrative.
lucrative (adjective) – when something can give you a lot of money
e.g. Working in insurance is also very lucrative.
finance – 金融
e.g. Shanghai is a city known for its vibrant finance culture.
commercial (adjective) – when people want to make money out of something
e.g. Thailand has become very commercial.
commercial (noun) – advertisement
