Vocabulary
set in stone – expression to make sth official or formal or set in memory
eg. Their names were set in stone on their tombstones.
eg. I want you to remember these vocabulary words so I would like you to write a story with them. That way they are set in stone.
change vs. exchange
getting a job-of-last-resort = getting job that you might not want but need in order to gain experience or make money
covet / coveting / coveted / will covet v. – to wish for, especially eagerly
acquire ( uhh – kwire ) / acquiring / acquired / will acquire v. – gained or had
thorough ( ther – roh ) adj. – like complete
write / writing / wrote / will write / written ( riten )
self-reliant – to be able to depend or rely on yourself
