Vocabulary

Customs (n): 1- the official department that administers and collects the duties levied by a government on imported goods.
E.g.: The products have been stuck at the customs department for a week now.

Diva (n): 1- a woman who behaves as if she is very special or important. 2- a very successful and famous female singer.
E.g.: She’s acting like a diva.

Entitled (adj): 1- feeling that you have the right to do or have what you want without having to work for it or deserve it, just because of who you are.
E.g.: These kids are spoiled and entitled.

Sinner (n): 1- a person who has broken a religious or moral law.
E.g.: According to religion, we are all sinners in the eyes of God.

Niche (n): 1- an area or position that is exactly suitable for a small group of the same type. 2- a job or position that is very suitable for someone, especially one that they like.
E.g.: The company needs to find a niche to develop the new business.

Cruel (adj): 1- extremely unkind and unpleasant and causing pain to people or animals intentionally.
E.g.: Children can be very cruel to each other.

Crucial (adj): 1- extremely important or necessary.
E.g.: Her work has been crucial to the project’s success.
