eg: “A friend of mine invited to teach yoga in Holland, but due to a time conflict I couldn’t make it.”

oblivious adj. – unaware of your surroundings

eg: “Men are often oblivious to what women really want.”

wing it V.- to do something without a plan

eg: “When I travel, I don’t make any plans except for the hotel reservation, for the rest I just wing it.”

lock down – to set something permanently

eg: “We need to lock this schedule down before any new people join.”

OCD – obsessive compulsive disorder

eg: “My friend is a little OCD, but he manages it very well.”

facade N.– a superficial appearance or illusion of something

eg: “The hotel seems good, but it could just be a facade, maybe inside it is really run down.” “He’s just presenting a facade, he’s usually not so nice.”
