Vocabulary

Law (n): 1- a rule, usually made by a government
E.g.: He was arrested for breaking the law.

Jail (n): 1- a place where people who commit crimes (break the law) are taken to.
E.g.: He spent ten years in jail.

Majority (n): 1- the larger number or part of something.
E.g.:  The majority of the employees have university degrees.

Skeptical (adj): 1- not believing that something is true or useful.
E.g.:  More examples I’m a bit skeptical about his chances of success.

Hostel (n): 1- a cheap kind of hotel for  students, workers, or travelers, usually with shared bedrooms (dorms) and other facilities.
E.g.:  I stayed at a very good and cheap hostel when I went to Paris.

Sold (v): 1- past tense of “to sell”.
E.g.: He sold his house last summer.
