Vocabulary

Rehearsal (n): 1- a time when all the people involved in a play, dance, etc. practice in order to prepare for a performance.
E.g.: They didn’t have time for a rehearsal before the performance.

Costume (n): 1- a set of clothes worn in order to look like someone or something else, especially for a party or as part of an entertainment.
E.g.: They Our host was wearing a clown costume.

Occasion (n): 1- a particular time, especially when something happens or has happened. 2- a special or formal event.
E.g.: We met on several occasions to discuss the issue.
E.g.: At the wedding he sang a song specially written for the occasion.

Valid (adj): 1- based on truth or reason; able to be accepted.
E.g.: For the experiment to be valid, it is important to record the data accurately.

Argument (n): 1- a reason or reasons why you support or oppose an idea or suggestion, or the process of explaining these reasons. 2- a disagreement, or the process of disagreeing.
E.g.: I don’t think that’s a very convincing argument.
E.g.: 
The children had an argument about what game to play.

Criticism (n): 1- a negative opinion expressed about something.
E.g.: The government is facing severe criticism over the new policies.

Innocent (adj): 1- having no knowledge of the unpleasant and evil things in life. 2- not guilty of a particular crime.
E.g.: She has such an innocent face that I find it hard to believe anything bad of her.
E.g.: He firmly believes that she is innocent of the crime.
