diary n. – a book that people can write their thoughts in

eg. I like books, not diaries.

wimpy adj. –  not strong, weak

eg. Jack is weak so he is wimpy.

compare / compared / comparing / will compare v. – look at the differences and similarities

eg. Celeste and Michelle compared their hands.

author n. – a person who writes a book, novel, story

eg. I’m writing a novel, so I’m an author.

specifically adverb-  specific,  exact

eg. I specifically told you that I want ice cream not cake.

sissy n. – like wimpy, not strong, weak

rich adj. – to have a lot of money

eg. My mommy and daddy are rich.

childhood n. – time when sb is a child

eg. Celeste is not a child, so she is not in her childhood. Michelle is a child, she is in her childhood.

flash / flashed / flashing / will flash  – a thing a camera does with a light to make the picture brighter

eg. The camera is flashing! I can’t see!

runt n. – a person or animal who is small

bully / bullying / bullied / will bully v.- when sb is mean to sb else

seating chart n. – a chart that the teacher makes to tell students where to sit

cartoon – drawing of people and places

permanent adj. – long-lasting or nonfading

uuuhhhh – I don’t know. > I don’t know what _____ means.
