Diet – a special way to eat

No carb diet – you don’t eat carbs

Good carbs  – sweet potatoes, yams, whole grains, brown/black rice, quinoa

Bad carbs – normal potatoes (white), processed flour, white rice

Corn syrup – corn sugar

High fructose corn syrup – sugar made from corn

Spinach – bo cai

Metabolism – the way your body uses food

Protein – meat, nuts, eggs
