Rachel’s birthday

The other five friends were discussing how to celebrate Rachel’s birthday. They planed to give her a surprise. But they had different opinions on whom to invite. One important thing, they couldn’t have Rachel’s parents attend together, because they were quarreling and even quarreled at Rachel’s sister’s graduation. So they invited Rachel’s mom only.

On Rachel’s birthday morning, they began to prepare birthday candles, balloons, foods and drinks. Phoebe asked where the cake was and Monica answered they didn’t have birthday cake but birthday flan. At that time Rachel’s dad came, which made everyone in a panic. And later her mom also knocked the door. To avoid both of them meeting, Chandler made an excuse to let Rachel’s dad to go to the bedroom. At the same time Phoebe took Rachel’s mom to the bathroom to have a talking. Monica lied Rachel’s dad that it was just the staging area and the party would held at Chandler’s apartment so he should wait there.

Finally they held two birthday parties. One was at Monica’s apartment with Rachel’s mom and the other one was at Chandler’s apartment with Rachel’s dad. Rachel hurried to the two sides to cope with her parents and listened to their complaint about each other at the whole party. That’s really a surprise!
