you’re breaking up = we say this to inform the person we are talking to on the phone that we cannot hear them
E.g. You’re breaking up, let me call you in 5 minutes.
they = used to refer to a person when we are not sure whether that person is a male or a female
E.g. Someone knocked on my door, but by the time I went to see who it was, they were gone.
dropped call = a call which is interrupted due to poor signal
frequency n = how often something happens
frequent adj = common, which happens often
radio frequency = a certain value of radio waves; used as part of a radio station’s identity, as in Light FM 92.1
installment n = a part of a payment.
E.g. Rob paid for his car in twelve installments.
