last week Chinese people celebrated the mid autumn festival. We had dinner with our parents and had a good time. The traditional food of the mid autumn festival is not only mooncake, but also duck and taro. Also there are different interesting myths about this festival such as the Godness Chang’s flying to the moon. For me the most important thing in this featival was I can spare time with my family.

Last week Chinese people celebrated the mid autumn festival from Thursday to Saturday. We had dinner with our parents and had a good time eating & talking together. The traditional food of the mid autumn festival is not only mooncake, but also duck and taro. Also there are different interesting tales / stories about this festival such as the Goddess Chang flying to the moon. For me the most important thing in this festival is that I can spend time with my family.

myths – say the “th” very softly but the “s” STRONG!
time = pronounce the “eye”
traditional / people – remember the “L” at the end. Think “la” but say “l”
