Die out (v): 1- to become less common and finally stop existing:
E.g.: It’s a tradition that is beginning to die out.

Hot tub (n): 1- a large tub of hot water in which people sit to relax or spend time together
E.g.: The best part of the hotel is that they have a patio with a hot tub in each room!

Bathtub (n): 1- a large and long container in which people take baths or showers
E.g.: I was relaxing in the bathtub for an hour this evening.

Stampede (n): 1- an occurrence in which a large group of frightened or excited animals or people run together in a wild and uncontrolled way to escape from something, get out of a place, etc.
E.g.: On December 31, 2014, a deadly stampede occurred in Shanghai, near Chen Yi Square on the Bund, where around 300,000 people had gathered for the new year celebration.

Pretentious (n): 1- having or showing the unpleasant quality of people who want to be regarded as more impressive, successful, or important than they really are
E.g.: She’s a good person, but she acts very pretentious sometimes.


In English, when asked a negative question (a question with not / don’t / aren’t / can’t/ etc.), we should answer as follows:

Q: Don’t you celebrate Christmas?
A: No, I don’t. (means that you do not celebrate Christmas.)
Yes, I do. (means that you do celebrate Christmas.)
