Vocabulary

speeding – driving too fast

eg: “I got pulled over for speeding.”

patrol – to go around an area looking for anything wrong happening

eg: “A few years ago in Shanghai the police patrolled often, but now they don’t.”

dismantle – take apart

eg: “When children construct some toy buildings, eventually parents would dismantle them.

tear down -destroy

eg: “There is an old building near my home, I wonder when they will tear it down.”

steal – to take something that is not yours.

eg: “People’s mobile phones were stolen by thieves.”

thief – a person who steals

eg: “Thieves will be punished if they get caught.”

lenient – not strict,easy going, not following rules exactly.

eg: “Teacher shouldn’t be too lenient, or students won’t learn anything.”

Speaking exercise

Original –

If I drive my car faster than the law, I would be fined by government.

Every working day every employee need to finish many tasks, which is including different contents.

In the past months the government has been cracked down on forbidding illegal buildings to control the population.

Teacher should be strict to student for their knowledge skills improvement.

Correction
