Moving (adj): 1- something that makes you feel sadness or sympathy.
E.g.: Kubo’s story is very moving.

Ability (n): 1- the quality of being able to do something; power. 2- 能力
E.g.: Jerry has the ability to learn very fast.

Stop-motion animation (n): 1- 定格动画
E.g.: “Kubo and the Two Strings” is a very funny 3D stop-motion animation.

Ancient (adj): 1- something very old, that doesn’t exist anymore in the same way.
E.g.: Kubo lived in a village in ancient Japan.

Accidentally (adv): 1- by mistake; not on purpose. 2- 偶然
E.g.: I accidentally dropped my cup and broke it.

Summon (v): 1- order (someone) to be present. 2- 召唤
E.g.: I summoned the waiter to the table.

Vengeful (adj): 1- someone who tries to harm someone because he/she was harmed before 2- 复仇
E.g.: It’s not good to be vengeful.

Spirit (n): 1- the soul. The part of you that is not your body. 2- 精神
E.g.: Kubo had to fight bad spirits who we trying to do bad things.

Companion (n): 1– a person or animal with whom you spend a lot of time with or go traveling together.
E.g.: Kubo had two animal companions: Monkey and Beetle

Origami (n): 1- 折纸

Suit of Armor (n): 1- 盔甲
