Child-proof – verb or adjective, something that cannot be destroyed by children, to make something durable enough for children to use

Child-lock – a special lock designed to keep children safe

Ex. Many cars have a child lock to prevent a child from opening the doors or windows.

Booster Seat – a special seat designed to lift a child enough to wear a seatbelt.

Ex. Every time my son is in his booster seat, he likes to try to press the buttons to open the doors and windows.

Crib – noun, the caged bed that a child sleeps in

Ex. Very skilled children can climb out of their crib at night.

Restless – adjective, not liking to rest or sleep

Ex. If I drink too much coffee, I will be too restless to fall asleep at night.

Nap – a short rest, a short time sleeping

Ex. Most people agree that adults should not take naps exceeding (超过) twenty minutes.

Nap Time – noun, a time during the afternoon when children sleep for a little bit

Ex. After nap time, my son is much more willing to do his homework.
