Speaking exercise

Original –

I had a hard time understanding other peoples accents. When I’m ordering food in a fast food restaurant it’s always hard for me to recognize the words from Mexicans or Cubas and Indians. It’s just hard to know what they are talking about, because maybe Mexicans and Cubans are saying words in Spanish, and indians just couldn’t explain things well. Once I ordered a take out food in the phone and an Indian answered. And when I want to change the things I ordered, it’s hard to explain what I want to do, because his logic is kind of messed up. I think before I ordered A and B, now I just want to order two A. and he keeps saying, now you don’t want to order A and B. I correct his word for the third time, he said that you should let me finish, and if I don’t finish you just couldn’t get what I talked.

Correction

One of the biggest problems I had on my trip to America, was understanding other people’s accents. When I’m ordering food in a fast food restaurant it’s always hard for me to recognize what Mexicans, Cubans or Indians are saying. It’s just hard to know what they are talking about, because Mexicans and Cubans at fast food restaurants are saying some words in Spanish, and the Indians I talked to just couldn’t explain things well. One time I ordered take out food on the phone and an Indian answered. When I wanted to change my order, it was hard to explain, because I couldn’t follow his logic. Before I ordered one A and one B, but I wanted to change it to two A’s. He kept saying, now you don’t want to order A and B. I corrected him for the third time, he said that I should let him finish, and if he doesn’t finish I just couldn’t get what he said.
