astronaut = a person who flies to space (usually American)
taikonaut = a person who flies to space (from China)
cosmonaut = a person who flies to space (from Russia)
cosmos = universe

solo = alone, by one’s self

E.g. The longest solo flight around the world was completed in a small airplane.

treadmill = a machine used to run indoors on

spectacular = something which looks impressive, like a mountain view etc

to lose weight = / = to gain / put on weight

E.g. In space, astronauts are weightless.

E.g. After 12 months spent in weightlessness, the astronauts’ muscles become weaker.
