Vocabulary

Intense (adj): 1-  extreme and forceful or (of a feeling) very strong. (n: Intensity)
E.g.: He suddenly felt an intense pain in his back.

Oversee (v): 1- to watch or organize a job or an activity to make certain that it is being done correctly.
E.g.: As marketing manager, her job is to oversee all the company’s advertising.

Overseas (adj): 1- in, from, or to other countries (more commonly used when referring to countries that are relatively far away).
E.g.: We need to open up overseas markets.

Router (n): 1- a piece of electronic equipment that connects computer networks to each other, and sends information between networks
E.g.: The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, so he turned the router off and on again.

Scandinavia (n): 1- a region of northern Europe that includes Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. 2- 斯堪的纳维亚
E.g.: He is from Scandinavia.

Nordic (adj): 1- belonging to or relating to Scandinavia, Finland, or Iceland.
E.g.: He’s a classic Nordic type – tall with blond hair and blue eyes.

Meantime (n): 1- (In the meantime) until something expected happens, or while something else is happening.
E.g.: Your computer won’t arrive till Thursday. In the meantime, you can use Jude’s.

Instagram (n): 1-  the name of a social networking service for taking, changing, and sharing photographs and video.
E.g.: Instagram is blocked in China.
