To take advantage of something : 1- to use the good things in a situation:
E.g.: I thought I’d take advantage of the sports facilities while I’m here.

To take advantage of someone: 1- to treat someone badly in order to get something good from them:
E.g.: I think she is taking advantage of him.

Vocabulary

Journal (n): 1- a serious magazine or newspaper that is published regularly about a particular subject. 2- a written record of what you have done each day, sometimes including your private thoughts and feelings.
E.g.: The library subscribes to all the major science journals.
E.g.: She kept a travel journal during her trip to South America.

Imply (v): 1- to communicate an idea or feeling without saying it directly.
E.g.: Are you implying that I’m fat?

Conduct (v): 1- to organize and perform a particular activity
E.g.: The study was conducted using 49 different domestic cats.

Domestic (adj): 1- belonging or relating to the home, house, or family.
E.g.: The study shows that domestic cats are actually quite clever.

Consciousness (n): 1- the state of being awake, thinking, and knowing what is happening around you.
E.g.: He lost consciousness after his accident and never regained it.

Introspective (adj): 1- examining and considering your own ideas, thoughts, and feelings, instead of talking to other people about them.
E.g.: She is famous for her introspective songs about failed relationships.

Feline (n): 1- belonging or relating to the cat family.
E.g.: I love lions and other felines.

Boil (something) down (v): 1- to reduce information, usually so that it contains only its most important parts.
E.g.: He had boiled down a very long report to just a few paragraphs.
