peeling – when skin is coming off

eg. My skin is peeling on my nose.

peel / peeling / peeled / will peel v. – to remove the outer layer or skin of a vegetable (carrot/potato) or fruits (apple/orange/banana)

eg. I need to peel the carrots before I cook them.

citrus peel / lemon peel / orange peel / orange rind n. – outer layer of an orange, lemon, lime etc…

banana peel n. – outer layer of a banana

shed / shedding / shedded / will shed  v.- when snakes lose their skin / other animals lose their hair or fur

eg. Celeste has a dog who sheds all the time.

northern / eastern / southern ( su – thern ) / western

more wetwet / wetter / wettest

breaking out v.- to get pimples/acne/blackheads/whiteheads on your skin

pungent (pun -jint ) adj. – sharp, strong flavor

dark leafy greens – dark green vegetables (spinach)

impair v. –to make or cause to become worse; diminish inability, value, excellence, etc.; weaken ordamage:

eg. to impair one’s health; to impair negotiations.

average / normal height – not too tall, not too short

fit – way to describe someone’s body/muscles
