Vocabulary
context – surrounding information
e.g. Usually, you can figure out what a word means through the context
contest – 比赛
e.g. I participated in a painting contest this weekend!
to scam – to trick people into giving you money
e.g. I scammed an old lady into believing that I was her friend and she gave me a lot of money.
conman – someone who scams people or cons people
e.g. Conmen have found a new way of scamming old people.
a con = a scam
stereotype – 典型化
antibiotics – 耐药性
e.g. A lot of different types of bacteria have developed a resistance to antibiotics.
