F2F Class notes 16th September (Christian)

I have been learned= I have been learning/ I have learnt 

fluent= Perfect when using the language

eg: I am fluent in Japanese, well around 80%

It is very beautiful= its presented very well/ The food is presented very well.

presented/ presentation= the way it looks/ the way it is shown to you

do business with Japanese= I do a lot of business with Japanese/I have to do business with Japanese 50% of the time. 

Q: how is your wifes cooking?

A: her food isnt bad, but I want to give her some ideas to make it better,If I do that though, i’ll make her upset.

I have to remember that a happy wife = happy life haha. ( regarding your wife and her cooking) 

she like cook for me=She likes to cook for me

not good taste= It tastes bad/ It doesn’t taste that good

she want when cook something comments= She asks my opinion each time she cooks

japan is not as positive as Chinese= I think China has more positives  that Japan

first time come to here= First time coming here

Japan and England may be similar as they are both islands

I played football until 16= I played football until I was 16 ( not needed) 

I break my leg= I broke my left leg in a football game

France is very strong in basketball= The basketball is strong in France

if he want to play football = If he wants to play football/ If he’d like to play football.

Mouth watering = looks really good to eat

Eg that steak is mouth watering

Eye watering= very painful

Eg OUCH that was eye watering!
