going up/down – The price of coffee is going up.

went up/down – The price of the houses in Shanghai went up from last year but the other cities went down.

will go up/down – I think the prices of houses in Shanghai will always go up and never go down.

gone up/down – In the past, the population in Shanghai has gone up 10% each year.

festive adj. – joyous, merry, pertaining to sth for a feast of festival

favorite adj. – a way to describe sth or sb who is the best
