I received an old woman. – I helped an old woman.

elderly ( L der lee)  = nicer, more polite way to say ‘old people’

Ex: If I met some elderly people in the subway I usually stand up and give them my seat.

elderly woman / elderly man

Ex: I hope when I’m an elderly woman I still have a good life.

retired people/ retired men / retired women

Ex: After 60 years old, working people can retire. / Today, there was a large group of retired women who came to visit the retirement community.

Today, I introduced an elderly woman to the retirement community.

When she came in and told us, I’m so busy. So introduce this subject fast. –  She told us she is busy, so she wanted me to introduce the community quickly.

After 5 minutes she went out.  – After 5 minutes she walked out.

She don’t believe us / me. She believes in herself. – She didn’t believe me. She didn’t like the retirement community.  She didn’t like the houses/rooms/cost of living/food.

She is not patient people. – She is not patient. / She is not a patient person.
