F2F Class Notes 16th August (Celeste)

This morning, my son’s English training school- kidcasle organized all the students in the summer camp to watch a new film. As Howie got up a bit late, I was afraid that he couldn’t arrive at the school on time. So I sent him to the cinema directly, lucky I got a free ticket by his teacher.
The film named “The pets’s big secret” which made all the aduience feel happy and laugh many times. There are lots of lovely animals in this film, dogs, cats, crocodiles, snakes, and a clever rabbit.

This morning, my son’s English training school- Kidcastle, organized all the campers in the summer camp to watch a new film/movie. Howie got up a bit late, I was afraid that he wouldn’t arrive at school on time. So we went to the cinema directly, luckily I got a free ticket from his teacher.
The film, “The Secret Life of Pets”, made all the audience feel happy and laugh many times. There are lots of lovely animals in this film, like dogs, cats, crocodiles, snakes, and a clever rabbit.

There are 4 or 5 screens at the cinema / in the movie theater.

They bought the whole theater for the movie. There are about 100 seats in the place.

I sat beside the door waiting for my son. – I sat in the waiting area.

She is too old to die. – She was very old, so she died. 

Celeste’s dog in the US was too old, so she needed to die because she was in  a lot of pain.

field trip / field trips– leave school for the day with your class and go to the park/museum…

eg. Usually, on Fridays, the school organizes a field trip for the campers.

eg. He went on a field trip today.

eg. There weren’t any field trips when Angela was a young girl.
