Vocabulary

least favorite – The opposite to favorite. If favorite is the best then least favorite is the worst.
e.g. Mathematics is my least favorite class at school.

Earth quake – Movement in tectonic plates the ground will “Shake” and possibly open.  

Tsunami – Tidal-wave – Large movement of water from the ocean to swell onto land. Sudden and violent.  

Typhoon – Hurricane – Cyclone – Tornado –  A powerful storm where a lot of wind and rain can cause incredible amounts of destruction.

Blaze – Forest fire, inferno.

Volcanic eruption – Seismic movement being pushes through the earths crust. Can be toxic smoke, vapors or even lava and rock

Drought – When an area does not have as much water as it usually does and the population and vegetation suffer from this lack of water. Typically this will only apply to a significant amount of time.
e.g. The province’s reservoirs are empty due to the drought.

Plague – Viral or pests, that have grown to large to control and now consume at an unpreventable rate.
