e.g. I just straightened my hair so it looks neat right now.
Steak – a thick cut slice of meat
e.g. I love eating steak.
what sort of … – what kind of
e.g. What sort of cake did you eat?
To celebrate something – when something good happens and you do something to enjoy it
e.g. Let’s go celebrate my birthday by throwing a party!
To throw a party – to organise a party (can’t say “make a party”)
e.g. I love throwing parties.
Movie theatre –Â a place you go to watch the newest movies
e.g. I want to watch the new Lego movie in the movie theatre!
lately – 最近
e.g. I’ve been very busy lately.
habit – something you do over and over again, ä¹ æƒ¯
e.g. I have a lot of bad habits.
emotional – with a lot of emotion, usually means sad
e.g. She got really emotional at the funeral.
emotion – a feeling: happy, sad, excited, angry, …
e.g. There are a lot of different kinds of emotions.

Last weekend was my mom’s birthday. We had a birthday party. My sister came to Shanghai with my niece for my mom’s birthday and she buy a cake. Â My dad buy a roses and I bought dress for my mom. The cake is pink. A lot of small flowers on cake. It tasted really good. We saw a birthday song.
