Vocabulary

Self-conscious (adj): 1- nervous or uncomfortable because you are worried about what people think about you or your actions.
E.g.: He looked uncomfortable, like a self-conscious teenager.

Measurements (n): 1- a value, discovered by measuring, that corresponds to the size, shape, quality, etc. of something:
E.g.: My coach told me to take my measurements everyday.

Metabolism (n): 1- all the chemical processes in your body, especially those that cause food to be used for energy and growth:
E.g.: Exercise is supposed to speed up your metabolism.

Digestion (n): 1- the process by which your body breaks down food, or your ability to digest food.
E.g.: Discover how eating raw food helps balance your body and aids digestion.

Raw (of food) not cooked.
E.g.: Eating raw food helps balance your body and helps digestion.

Anxiety (n): 1- an uncomfortable feeling of nervousness or worry about something that is happening or might happen in the future. (adj: Anxious)
E.g.: Children normally feel a lot of anxiety about their first day at school.

Fuel a substance that is used to provide heat or power, usually by being burned:
E.g.: Wood, coal, oil, petrol, and gas are all different kinds of fuel.

Indulge (v): 1- to allow yourself or another person to have something enjoyable, especially more than is good for you.
E.g.: I love champagne but I don’t often indulge myself.
