Vocabulary

Savoury – salty, another option of flavour in addition to sweet

Fatigue – tiredness (the adjective form would be fatigued)

Jelly – fruit preserves

Jell-O – a sweet made from gelatine

Intestine – gut, 大肠

Bland – plain, uninteresting

Perch – 鲈鱼

Invade – to go somewhere you should not go with the intention of taking it over

Ex. In the 20th Century, Japan invaded China.

Invasive – usually used to talk about animals that are too successful in a new location
