The delivery guy was upset because she was not home to receive the package.

So the delivery guy told her to not shop online anymore.

She then posted it on twitter to say it’s none of the delivery guy’s business if she shops online.

Vocabulary

Dude – slang for a guy or person

eg: “Dude that is my hamburger.”

to pull a (Proper Noun, person’s name or name of something) to behave in a similar way as the person named.

eg: We have a friend named Sam who is always eating lunch during meetings. So when Bill opened his lunchbox during the meeting we said, Bill is totally pulling a Sam today.

it pays to – to do this thing gives you some benefit

eg: “It pays to be an early bird.” “It pays to go to the gym.” “Studying is a lot of work, but it pays off in the end.”

pay for – to give money in exchange for goods or sevices

eg: “I have to pay for my dinner.”

literal – the original meaning of the word.

eg: “What’s up?” “The sky. The Ceiling. Birds.”

figurative – expresses an idea in an interesting way by using language that usually describes something else : not literal

eg: “What’s up?” “Nothing Much.”

We all fall down.                       –       Many people got sick from this.
