Writing exercise

The morning of Shanghai can be very quiet and peaceful. I had no idea about that until recently I had to go out early at 6 am two days in a row in order to take my last driver’s license test. Preparing and passing the whole four tests almost cost me one year and I became quite exhausted at the end.
Yesterday I found myself forgetting bringing the identity certificate before the test. Because the place to take the test is so far away from my home, I didn’t have enough time to pick it, so I had to rearrange the time. Today I arrived at there at 6:30 to get in the line and waited for 2 hours to finally make it to the test room. It was warm outside, but it was extraordinarily cold in the room, so I think I might have caught cold by then. Anyway I passed the test smoothly and I can finally have my driver’s license in three days. To be honest, I am still not confident enough to drive on roads, especially in Shanghai.

The mornings in Shanghai can be very quiet and peaceful. I never knew this until yesterday. I had to leave the house at 6am. I was on the way to getting my driver’s license, however when I arrived I had forgotten my needed I.D. card. So, today I left the house once again but with my I.D. in my hand.  I prepared for four tests and it took me almost one year to complete. It was very exhausting,
because the driving school is so far from my house. Today, I arrived there at 6:30am to get in line and waited for 2 hours before I could take my test. It was warm outside, but it was extraordinarily cold in the room, so I think I might have caught a cold. Anyway, I passed the test smoothly and I can finally get my driver’s license.  It will arrive in three days. To be honest, I am still not confident enough to drive on roads, especially in Shanghai.
