eg. We have been friends for one and a half years. = We have been friends since one year and a half ago.

half of a sth (haffa -native pronunciation)

eg. Half of a watermelon (haffa watermelon)

eg. The first half of the game is over. (The first haffa the game is over.)

have to do sth ( havtuh – native pronunciation)

eg. I have to go to the bathroom. (I havtuh go to the bathroom.)

eg. I have to go/leave because the bus is coming. (I havtuh leave because the bus is coming.)

go out = go on a date with sb

eg. Do you want to go out with me on Friday night?

Please leave. = polite

Get out! = VERY RUDE or sb who is angry
