F2F Class Notes 14th December (Celeste)

One of my most favorite shows is American sitcom, Friends. It’s really funny and amusing, i can burst into laughter.

I remember one episode that is about Ross’s monkey, Marcel lost. Rachel helped Ross take care of Marcel because of Ross going out that day. She brought back Marcel to Monica’s apartment and spent whole day alone with the monkey. Marcel pooped in Monica’s shoe when Rachel was watching TV, Rachel was pissed off and went out to throw the poop, but she forgot to close the door. When Rachel came back, she found Marcel lost. Ross thought Rachel went back on her words as she promised to take care of Marcel well. Everyone went out to look for the monkey anxiously. They checked each floor one by one but still can’t find it. Rachel even called to Animal Control to provide help. But Marcel was an illegal exotic animal, Ross was not allowed to have it in the city. If Animal Control found the monkey, they would take it away from Ross. So they had a terrible quarrel for this. It was really coincident that the animal administrator was Monica and Rachel’s high school classmate, Luisa. But they didn’t have a good relationship at that time. Luisa hated Monica and Rachel so she wouldn’t help them and even said she would take away the monkey if she found it.

When they were hanging out and seeking,Phoebe was hurt by Luisa. Finally, they found Marcel in their neighbor’s house. But Luisa wanna take away Marcel whatever they required. That was a big deal for Ross. Rachel intimidated Luisa “if you must take away Marcel, I will tell your superior you hurt Phoebe.” Then Marcel was free again.

Ross opened a bottle of wine which was gotten ready before and shared with Rachel. They forgot the displeasure and enjoyed the moment.

It was really a coincidence that the animal control administrator was Monica and Rachel’s high school classmate, Luisa. But they didn’t have a good relationship at that time. Luisa hated Monica and Rachel so she wouldn’t help them and even said she would take the monkey away if she found it.

When they were hanging out and looking for Marcel, Phoebe was accidentally shot with a tranquilizer by Luisa. Finally, they found Marcel in their neighbor’s house. But Luisa wanted to take Marcel away even though everyone was begging her not to.  That was a big deal for Ross. Rachel intimidated Luisa and said, “if you must take Marcel away, I will tell your superior you shot Phoebe with a tranquilizer.” Then Marcel was safe with Ross again.

tranquilizer n. – a drug that has a sedative or calming effect without inducing sleep

eg. Animal Control will use tranquilizers to capture wild animals running through the city.
