anesthetic – an es theh tick – ma yao
eg. make your mouth numb by using anesthetic

numb – no feeling
eg. my mouth is numb

antibiotics – kan shen shu

it took a long time to get better / recover – hui fu

i had 1 week off
eg. my boss gave me 2 weeks off because I just had surgery

every surgery has some risk – feng xian

sensitive – easy to have problem / lots of feeling
