To talk about distance and travel time:

It takes [time] to get to [place B] from [place A] by [交通].*

Ex. It takes one hour by metro to get to my job from my house.

*Note: Here is the question form: “How long does it take to get to [Place B] from [Place A] by [交通]?”

Expressions 成语

We can use the phrase “to think about” or “to decide” when we want to say 想好。For example, to say “我还没想好地方”we can say “I haven’t thought about what place” or “I haven’t decided what place.”

“Half an hour” means 30 minutes; however, “an hour and a half” means 90 minutes.
