give your notice – to quit a job, give formal notice to the employer

eg: I gave my 1 month notice last week.

put up with  sth. – to deal with something that you don’t want to deal with.

eg: I’m putting up with a lot of extra work so I can maintain my work relationship.

venue – a place for events

eg: They need me to work at the auto show so I can familiarize myself with the venue.

burn bridges – to burn down any connection between the relationship

eg: I don’t want to burn bridges with my boss at Ferrari.

spread too thin – to have more responsibilities or work than you can handle

eg: I’m worried about being spread too thin while working for two departments at my new job.

victimless crime – a crime with no victim

eg: It was a victimless crime, but still unethical.
