Rhetoric (n): 1- language designed to have a persuasive or impressive effect on its audience, but often regarded as lacking in sincerity or meaningful content.
E.g.: He used very strong rhetoric to convince people.

Normalize (n): 1- to bring (someone or something) back to a usual or expected state or condition. 2- to make something seem normal.
E.g.: They tried to normalize the situation.

Empower (n): 1- to give power to (someone).
E.g.: People fear that Trump has empowered a lot of racist people with his hateful rhetoric.

Islamophobia (n): 1- dislike of or prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force.
E.g.: Islamophobia is a big problem all over the world.
