I remember we didn’t need to go through a security check at HK Disneyland

eg. The taxi drop-off at Shanghai Disneyland is 15 minutes from the entrance gate.

eg. When a taxi drops me off here it takes 15 minutes from my office.

If you want to go to Disneyland you will prepare to some hacks. First, be early birds. You need to get there before 8am from Friday-Sunday or 9am from Tuesday-Thursday. But, you have to have 20 minutes line for security check ahead of the dot of opening. The best way to go is metro. You can take line 11 to Disneyland or you can take taxi from the taxi drop to the park entrance. The car parking costs between 60-100RMB.
