Vocabulary

perfume – 香水

e.g. I like to put on perfume because it smells nice.

to control yourself – 控制自己

e.g. She can’t control herself, sometimes she just really wants to eat ice-cream.

to be upset – to have strong negative feelings (angry + sad)

e.g. I was really upset when my friend told me there was no ice-cream left.

to pretend – 假装

e.g. My friend pretended she was sick today so she wouldn’t have to go to class.
