In between jobs – Currently don’t have a job, but are looking for a new one. “Right now I’m in between jobs.”
Opportunity – a chance to do something, or accomplish a goal. “America is often called the land of opportunities, but now many people find that China is becoming the same.”
Refine – to make sth. more pure. “French food, is very refined.” “Gasoline, must first be processed at an oil refinery.”
gasoline – fuel for cars. eg: “Gasoline prices are higher now than they have ever been.”
I want to looking for a new job – I want to look for a new job
to + (v.) +ing to + (v.)
be + (v) + ing: “I’m looking for a new job.”
to make up – to do something that you missed before. “My son had to do a make up day at school, because of the National Holiday.”
Have a lot of things to do: means you must do these things. eg: “I have a lot of errands today.” “I don’t have to do the laundry, but I want to wear clean clothes.”
Can do a lot of things: means it is optional to do them. “I can do so many things with my free time.”
I can do something I like to do – I can do what I want.
errand – a small task, that usually requires you go somewhere to do it. (Run errands) “My washing machine broke, and we have no food at home, so I have to run some errands today.” “I was sick last week, so this week I have so many errands to do.”
