– What?
– Come on. It’s so obvious that there’s something on your mind. Can you deny that something came up?
– Well, I’m seeing someone.
– What? Wow, finally you let the bygones be bygones. Congratulations! Who?
– John.
– What? That new kid on the block? With all due respect, I don’t wanna be a backseat driver, but everybody here knows that he’s a scumbag. Without a rich family, there’s no way our bank could have hired him.
– I didn’t know that. Why do you think our bank hired him?
– His father is our biggest client’s General Manager.
– Really?I don’t think he’s that bad. He told me he joined us because he wanted to put what he learnt in school into practice.
– Ok. Then answer me why don’t you look very happy? You know, the fall in love happy.
– He always asks me a lot of questions about our business and he told me he needs to earn more money for paying out his apartment rental , I even treated him dinner whenever I chose a restaurant whose average price per person is higher than 100 yuan, eventually, I started to worry that he might want to take advantage of me instead of just being with me . I want to give thanks to you for filling me out. I can take a load off now. This is the happiest moment in my life.
