Yesterday, A news about a sudden cancellation from a brand was posted on advertisting industry websites and wechat accounts.

The agency said that they produced a TVC for a brand ,a short time house- renting platform. According to the plan and schedule, the agency got the A copy conformation from client and prepared to go to B copy (last version). The fee of this TVC is very expensive, although the client paid a part fee in advance, it was just a small part of total fee. The worst news was that the client cancelled the project suddently. Finally , this agency finished this video by them-selves and showed it on advertisting industry websites. The agency was in debt for this projects.

As a matter of fact, in our indurstry, we almost start to work first , confirm the campaign idea & quotation at the same time. So there is a big risk, if client cancell the project that means our work will be free. How to manage client and get quotation comfirmation are the key points what we need to think deeply.

So there is a big risk, if a client cancels the project that means our work will be unpaid. How to manage clients and get quotation confirmations are the key points that we need to focus on.
