Your Original Email:

Dear Boss,

I would like to give you QC feedback for UK order based on Mei’s qc report and our discussion by phone.

Cutting Boards: the quality is good and even better than last US order. The color is good and raw material is good. The defective % is around 1%.
Utensil:
In general, the quality of all the utensils is good except ‘give it a rest’ collection. The color range of most utensils is from level 1 to level 3, the defective rate is from 1% to 8%
‘Give it a rest’ collection: The raw material for whole collection is not good. There are a lot of black lines on it and I rejected it all. The defective rate is around 30%. Mei told me, the workers mixed the defective items into the inventory by accident. Therefore we need to pay more attention on these items next time.
Scraper: There are around half scrapers have level 1 color and the others have level 3 color. Mei guide factory to put same color of scrapers in one inner.
Moisture content: the weather is good, hot and dry. Therefore the moisture content can reach our requirement. : )
Baby Bowl: Mei did 100% careful qc for baby bowl. The defective rate is very high that reaches 50%. The main problem is tiny crack. Mei picked all out and put it in the box with marks.
Carton & packaging: Carton marking is correct and packaging method is correct too.
Factory situation
Everything was stable, Mei felt they were not as busy as before. There were only 3 workers in the cutting board working shop. The utensil workshop was same as before. The owner arranged all the packaging and oil workers 3 days off after finished this order.
Mei didn’t find any other products at factory. She heard from Alian they would not keep business with another customer due to the price issue.
Since Mei spent her most time in the finish goods workshop and didn’t have time to talk with the owner. It seemed his attitude is not bad.
Although we counts the defective items of each order and put in the box and taped the box, we still found the factory still mixed the defective items into the good items.
QC images: attached are the qc images for your reference, please note: the color of some utensil from the picture is distorted. Don’t worry about it, it should be OK.
