Background:
1. Merit increases for transferred employees
To insure the transferred employees’ total compensation and benefits are same with before, we suggest to having their annual merit increase on Feb. as usual.
2. Merit increase for new hire employees
The new hire employees who joined company before Oct. 2018 worked about half a year on Feb. 2019. If they can’t have a merit increase on Feb. 2019, next merit increase should be on Feb. 2020, about one and a half year later for them.That is not conducive to employee motivation.
