I wanna write about “No Sugar Challenge” which I’m taking on this week. The purpose of this challenge is to reduce the amount of sugar intake for my body. Sugar is known as a nasty ingredient which offers no health benefits and zero nutrients but makes you get more calories. Hence, I decided to join a week challenge opened by Lizzy’s All Natural, the home-made smoothies brand, and cut back any sugar during 06/04~06/10. (Yes, I just started it today lol)

These are what I have to do during the challenge:
1. No refined sugar
2. Limit natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, dates, etc.
3. Only whole grains. No white rice and white bread
4. Avoid alcohol (This is the worst!). But a glass of dry wine per day is acceptable (I changed the condition into practical way for myself haha)

As a person who has a sweet tooth, It would be challenging not to intake sugar for a week. But I still want to try it and see what would be changed on my body after finishing this challenge. I hope it would be the first step to make my good eating habit avoiding empty calories.
