You will probably face a situation/circumstance that living in a foreign country where people speak a different language than yours. Some people think it gives rise to serious social problems, as well as practical problems. However, I donā€™t agree with it.
Firstly, I agree that at the beginning there is a barrier when you arrive at a place where you totally donā€™t understand their native language, but it is not serious and always exist. It is a process you have to go through. When you buy some stuff or ask for direction, you will initially use simple words and your body language or drawing you want to express. Continually, you make progress and communicate with others fluently no matter due to the environment or human instinct. This is our life that has a lot of problems, where we solve these all the time and grow up. In early America, many Chinese who hadnā€™t known English immigrated to this country to seek a new life. They must have a tough time when they stepped on this land for the first time because of language. Eventually, they became part of American citizens and have a wonderful job in society.
Secondly, in my opinion, when you are a negative person, anything, not just say different language, can make a social and practical issue for you. For some reason I had dark days in my life during my college, I thought everything isnā€™t meaningful, and I reject to socialize and got stunk. Finally, I stepped out and I realized I was the reason cause these problems.
In conclusion, living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language whether cause serious social problems or not depend on who you are and how you do.
