Jesse told me to do more writing exercises. So that I try to write something down, even though I don’ have any inspiration.

Let’s start from a new vocabulary–groom, oblivious

Last week, I went to my cousin’s wedding and had a great moment with my big families.The groom was very handsome and the bride was beautiful. My cousin’s boss was their marriage witness.

Generally, we will have an important person, who could be a member from bride or groom’s family or boss, speak on the wedding. It is a tradition, even though his speaking is like a biography of that couple. Sometimes, he is too excited to forget the time, and oblivious that his speech makes other people bored.

Anyway, the wedding was great and everyone was very happy.

I should have ended my writing here, however, Judy wechated me just now. So let me write something more.

She told me that two teachers were sick, and she didn’t have other teachers to have class, which means I have to reschedule my class today to another day. It’s a little disappointed but still fine, I hope those two teachers could be getting better soon.

My cousin’s boss was their marriage witness (try to add some details here… ask yourself “why did I mention this? what is interesting about it?” and then answer it).

Generally, we will have an important person, who could be a member from bride or groom’s family or someone like their boss, speak at the wedding. It is a tradition, even though their speech is like a biography of that couple / an overview of the couples life together. Sometimes, he is too excited and forgets the time, and is oblivious that his speech makes other people bored / his speech bores other people.

Anyway, the wedding was great and everyone was very happy.

She told me that two SE teachers were sick, and she didn’t have other teachers to have class / and no other teachers were available to have class, which means I have to reschedule my class today to another day. It’s a little disappointing but still fine (but fine, I guess…), I hope those two teachers get better soon. – sorry about that Catherine! I promise after Chinese New Year we will have plenty of teachers waiting to have class.
