Not just game
Yesterday I heard my coworkers chat.
“When will you have your English test for university diploma?” A coworker asked another one.
“I don’t need to have the test, I have paid 200RMB which I can pass the exam easily.” Another coworker replied.
“What? Oh you are so happy.”
“It’s a netwoking academy/college of online education, so I don’t have to pay much effort on my study.”
“I suggest you can read some English. it would be useful for your future.” I said.
“No, I don’t want to practice my English. I prefer playing phone games.”
Honestly I started to look down on him after he said that. It is true he plays phone games from day to night.
I am one year older than him, but my attitude to life is totally different from him. I want to improve myself to make my future brighter. I like to study English, make friends, read books often. I am very young. I don’t want to waste time on playing games. We should be industrious and hardworking at our best ages. Phone game is good when we decrease stress. However, if we spend so much time on it, we will be addicted to it but we can hardly get even a little benefit from the game.
I don’t want to be a person like my coworker. I should be rational. Game is not my priority. Improving myself is the most thing I should do now.

Not just a game
Yesterday I overheard my coworkers talking / chatting.
“When will you have your English test for your university diploma?” A coworker asked another one.
“I don’t need to have the test, I have paid 200RMB which can allow me to pass the exam easily.” Another coworker replied.
“What? Oh you are so happy.” / oh you must be so happy
“It’s a networking academy/online education college, so I don’t have to put much effort into studying / my studies.”
“I suggest you can read / study? some English. it would be useful for your future.” I said.
“No, I don’t want to practice my English. I prefer playing mobile-phone games.”
Honestly I started to look down on him after he said that. It is true he plays mobile-phone games from day to night.
I am one year older than him, but my attitude to life is totally different from his. I want to improve myself to make my future brighter. I like to study English, make friends, and read books often. I am very young and I don’t want to waste time on playing games. We should be industrious and hardworking during our best years / while we’re still young. Mobile games are good to decrease our stress levels. However, if we spend so much time on them, we will be addicted to them and it’s really hard to get even a little benefit from playing games.
I don’t want to be a person like my coworker. I want to be rational. Playing games is not my priority in life, and instead I believe that now, improving myself is the thing I should do most.
